Exeter City has secured the signing of midfielder Taylor Perry following his exit from Shrewsbury Town, another club in League Two.
The 25-year-old, a product of the Wolverhampton Wanderers, has amassed over 180 appearances in the EFL League One and Two, marking him as Exeter’s third signing of the summer.

Perry previously had two loan spells with Cheltenham Town in League One between 2021 and 2023 before moving on from Molineux to join Shrewsbury.
He contributed to Shrewsbury’s campaigns in both League One and Two, playing a crucial role in maintaining their Football League status during the 2025-2026 season.
Exeter City manager Matt Taylor commented on the club website: “Taylor is a versatile box-to-box midfielder, equally adept in attack and defense. We feel he’s at the perfect stage of his career; he just turned 25 on Wednesday, and we believe his best football is still ahead of him.”
