AS Roma has shown interest in Chelsea’s 28-year-old centre-back Axel Disasi, as reported by Foot Mercato. After spending the latter half of last season on loan at West Ham United, Disasi became a key player under Nuno Espirito Santo, although he was unable to help the team avoid relegation to the EFL Championship.
Upon returning to Chelsea, Disasi’s contract extends until June 2029. The club is open to transferring the former AS Monaco defender, with potential interest from Champions League clubs.
AS Roma, who finished third in Serie A last season, has made inquiries about Disasi and has also contacted his representatives. Chelsea, currently pursuing another French international centre-back, Maxence Lacroix, has set a price of €20 million for Disasi.
