Roma has initiated discussions with Chelsea regarding defender Axel Disasi, as reported by Footmercato in France. The asking price for Disasi stands at €20 million.
This summer has been particularly challenging for the Giallorossi, who, despite qualifying for the Champions League, have struggled to secure several transfer targets after seemingly being close to agreements.
After losing West Ham United winger Crysencio Summerville to Al-Hilal, they are now back in conversations with a Premier League club.

According to Footmercato, Roma is engaged in negotiations with both Chelsea and Disasi’s representatives to make further progress.
The 28-year-old had a six-month loan spell with West Ham, where he played alongside Summerville during their relegation from the Premier League.
Given that Chelsea acquired Disasi from AS Monaco for €45 million in the summer of 2023, they are now seeking €20 million for his transfer.
With his contract running until June 2029, Roma aims to secure him on loan with a purchase option at the end of the season.
He was previously close to joining Serie A with Milan, but the deal eventually fell through.
