Keito Nakamura (25) of Stade de Reims is reportedly being targeted by Olympique de Marseille, as reported by La Provence.
In their quest for offensive players following the exits of Mason Greenwood (24), Hamed Junior Traoré (26), and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (37), the management at Marseille has identified the Japanese forward as a potential acquisition.

Having joined Les Rouge et Blanc from LASK for €12 million in the summer of 2023, Nakamura has quickly become a pivotal player for the team. His impressive performance last season, which included 32 appearances (29 starts), 14 goals, and three assists, was further highlighted by a strong showing at the World Cup.
However, securing this transfer may prove challenging for OM, as they are currently under significant financial constraints. Additionally, clubs like Everton, AFC Bournemouth, and Fulham are also said to be interested in Nakamura.
Regardless, with Nakamura having previously expressed a wish to leave Reims, the club’s general manager, Mathieu Lacour, confirmed he is free to depart. Lacour stated to L’Union: “We have a verbal agreement with him; he has been granted permission to leave, but the player must be satisfied, and Stade de Reims must also benefit from the deal.”
