Despite signing a contract with the reigning double European champions until 2028, the French international has opted against extending his deal, which could pave the way for a transfer as soon as this summer. Chelsea was eager to take advantage of this opportunity but was quickly turned down by the young winger.

Additionally, clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, and Bayern Munich are reportedly interested in Barcola as well, with PSG reportedly requesting a substantial fee of €120 million for his transfer. Barcola is in a favorable position, aware that he has time on his side for a potential move, though he does not intend to rush his decision.
