Greg Kiltie is confident that Kilmarnock will rediscover their scoring touch as the Premiership season approaches.
Despite creating numerous opportunities, the Ayrshire team ended their Premier Sports Cup group stage with a goalless draw against Peterhead last Saturday.

Though they were unable to secure victory in the penalty shootout, the team earned a point that secured their position at the top of Group H, allowing them to advance to the last 16.
Kilmarnock managed to score only twice over four cup matches, yet they maintained clean sheets in all of them.
“We can take a lot from the clean sheets; we’ve been solid defensively,” Kiltie stated. “We know we need to convert our chances. We had quite a few today, and I’m confident we’ll make the most of them when the league kicks off.”
“We are getting into good positions; it would be concerning if we were keeping clean sheets without creating opportunities.”
“We missed several chances today, and we’ve felt the same in previous matches, but ultimately, we’ve achieved our primary goal for this time of year.”
Kilmarnock, who played their home cup fixtures at Beechwood Park, Auchinleck, will begin their Premiership campaign away to newly-promoted St Johnstone next weekend.
The newly installed hybrid grass pitch will be ready for Celtic’s visit on August 9.
After finishing 10th last season, Neil McCann’s squad concluded the previous campaign on a high note and aims to carry that momentum into the new season.
“We are stepping into the league with confidence,” Kiltie, 29, added. “At the start of the season, I won’t set specific targets, but we’re focused on continuing our strong performance and playing the style of football we aspire to.”
