The potential acquisition of another high-priced left winger seemed puzzling.
Furthermore, multiple clubs have shown interest in the Ivorian talent, with reports suggesting he has reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain, though an agreement between the clubs has yet to be finalized. Moreover, Liverpool had a €100 million bid for him rejected by the German club.
Despite this, Diomande’s connection with Real Madrid seems to have grown stronger in the days that followed, even as Manchester City has joined the competition for his signature. With such a host of European heavyweights pursuing him, it seems likely that he will not be with Leipzig next season.
