England international Hannah Hampton has officially signed a new two-year contract with Chelsea.

The goalkeeper’s previous deal was set to expire this summer, making it crucial for Chelsea to retain her services as they aim to recover from a challenging 2025-26 season.

Since joining from Aston Villa in 2023, Hampton has established herself as one of the top goalkeepers in the world and secured her place as the first-choice keeper for the Lionesses.

At just 25, she has amassed five trophies during her time in London and played a key role in England’s Euro 2025 victory.

She was awarded the Yashin Trophy for best goalkeeper at last year’s Ballon d’Or awards and joins fellow England teammates Lucy Bronze and Aggie Beever-Jones in signing new contracts with Chelsea this summer.

“I’m really happy,” Hampton expressed. “Chelsea has always been my dream club to play for in England, so extending my contract for another two years is a proud moment for me.

Hampton was also a vital member of the England squad that won Euro 2022 and reached the final of the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

She contributed to Chelsea’s unbeaten domestic treble in the 2024-25 season and has earned consecutive Golden Glove awards in the WSL.
