In June, Sullivan resigned as the club’s joint chairman following a joint investigation by BBC Panorama and The Times into his conduct.
Several women allege the billionaire businessman abused his position and targeted them for sex, in some instances when they were teenagers.
According to the joint investigation, seven women came forward with allegations spanning back to the 1980s. All were in their late teens or early twenties at the time and were aspiring models seeking work at Sullivan’s Daily Sport and Sunday Sport newspapers.
They accuse Sullivan of predatory and sexually exploitative behaviour, saying he pressured them for sex during business meetings and suggested their careers would benefit if they slept with him or performed oral sex.
Sullivan, 77, has said he “categorically” denies the allegations, which relate to the period when he built his fortune in pornography, newspapers and football.
The Independent Football Regulator (IFR) has contacted West Ham about the “extremely serious allegations” and says it is seeking “urgent information” from him regarding his suitability for the role.
