Chelsea is preparing to offer Joao Pedro a new contract to stave off interest from Barcelona, as reported by The Athletic.
Pedro joined the Blues from Brighton & Hove Albion last summer for a fee exceeding £50 million.

The 24-year-old’s standout performances have caught the attention of Barcelona.
Although Pedro’s current contract extends until 2032, Chelsea is eager to offer him an improved deal.

Pedro began his career at Brazilian club Fluminense before moving to Watford in 2020.
He bolstered his reputation with a £30 million transfer to Brighton, where he scored 30 goals in 70 outings over two years.
