Goalkeeper Jack Sims has rejoined Southend United as a free agent after departing Sutton United.
The 27-year-old began his football journey with the Shrimpers as a youth player before moving to Blackpool at the age of 16. He has also played for Welling United and Braintree Town, where he played a key role in securing promotion via the National League South play-offs in 2024.
During the past two seasons, Sims appeared in 67 National League matches for Sutton.
He has signed a one-year contract with the Essex club, which includes an option for an additional season.
