FC Barcelona and Spain striker Ferran Torres has commented on the mounting speculation regarding his potential transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, neither confirming nor dismissing any reports about his future. Currently in the United States for a promotional tour with Under Armour, Ferran addressed the transfer rumors during an appearance on NBC’s Today show.
Ferran Addresses the Rumors
The 26-year-old forward, who played a key role in Spain’s World Cup victory, expressed his commitment to Barcelona but also acknowledged the ever-changing nature of the transfer market, sparking further speculation with his response.
“I have a contract with Barcelona, but in football, you never know. I’m waiting to make the right decision. I still don’t know,” he stated, as reported by SPORT.

When asked about his dream club, Ferran chose not to specify a team, instead stating, “My dream is to be happy.”
The Spanish international also reminisced about scoring the winning goal in the World Cup final, admitting to watching it many times since that historic match.
“I’ve watched it a thousand times because during the match, I wasn’t really aware of how I scored. I only remember going crazy and running away to celebrate. I can’t describe that feeling with words. You have to experience it,” he shared.
Uncertain Future
As Ferran speaks out, his future continues to attract attention. The 26-year-old has been linked with PSG, while Barcelona considers their options as the summer transfer window intensifies.
With the La Liga champions having already lost Robert Lewandowski this summer, they are actively searching for a new No. 9, all while Ferran’s situation remains in limbo. Although Barcelona wishes to keep him, they do not plan to initiate contract renewal discussions until September.
Ferran’s Interest in PSG
Ferran is reportedly open to signing with PSG as he feels underappreciated at the Spotify Camp Nou. Despite having his best season in 2025/26, he is unhappy with how the club has managed his contract situation.
Additionally, the prospect of reuniting with PSG manager Luis Enrique, whom he worked with at the Spain national team, is attractive to him. The lucrative five-year contract that PSG is offering is another appealing factor.
