Atalanta is anticipating the sale of Berat Djimsiti to Al-Diriyah, leading them to consider potential replacements such as Jean-Clair Todibo from West Ham, Alessio Romagnoli from Lazio, and Thomas Kristensen of Udinese.
Multiple sources indicate that Djimsiti has expressed a desire to leave after being offered a lucrative two-year contract from Al-Diriyah in the Saudi Pro League.
The proposed transfer fee is thought to be around €3 million, which would meet Atalanta’s financial expectations.

There have been reports suggesting that Atalanta is negotiating with West Ham for Todibo, who is considered their top choice. However, it appears he may only be available on a loan with an option to purchase at the end of the season.
A potentially more exciting option could be Romagnoli, who previously flourished under Maurizio Sarri at Lazio and appears reluctant to stay at the Stadio Olimpico.
Initially set to travel to Qatar for Al-Sadd, Romagnoli’s move fell through once more after encountering issues during negotiations in January.
Sky Sport Italia’s transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio has also mentioned Kristensen as another viable option.
The Udinese defender was already on the radar of Atalanta’s new director of sport, Cristiano Giuntoli, during his tenure at Juventus.
