Departing Chalobah: Proud…

Trevoh Chalobah recently shared an heartfelt farewell to Chelsea on social media following the confirmation of his move to Como, a deal reported to be over £30m.

The 27-year-old England international made 151 appearances for Chelsea, the club he joined at the age of nine.

Chalobah expressed his emotions by stating, “After 18 years, it’s time to say goodbye to Chelsea. I arrived as a nine-year-old with a dream and leave as a man who has experienced that dream in ways I never thought possible. This journey has tested, uplifted, and strengthened me. To all my teammates, coaches, staff, and supporters, thank you for shaping who I am. I gave my all, and I take pride in the person I’ve become thanks to this club.”

He also encouraged young players, saying, “The road may not always be easy, but stay prepared, stay optimistic, and keep believing. God’s timing is always perfect. Thank you all for your love and support.”

Additionally, Chalobah shared a series of photographs from his 18-year journey at Chelsea, captioned: “An 8-year-old boy walked through those doors. A man walks out. Dream fulfilled. To every academy player at Chelsea: keep believing. Your time will come. Never give up.”
