Portugal Under-21 international Chermiti has made 43 appearances for Rangers, starting 30 times and scoring 15 goals.
McInnes said it’s no surprise the forward attracts significant attention given his high potential, but stressed he remains a Rangers player.
He explained they are building the squad and still looking to add players who complement the quality already in place, including Youssef.
He added they would not encourage any approaches and, despite today’s headlines, their focus was on the match.
After the game, McInnes said he was disappointed the big striker had to be taken off on a stretcher, noting he looked sharp and was making good runs.
He confirmed the player left in a protective boot with his knee in a brace and will have a scan tomorrow.
While urging against speculation, he expressed hope for positive scan results and a swift return to action in a Rangers shirt.
Rangers have already made nine signings this summer following McInnes’ arrival from Heart of Midlothian, and he is still aiming to add more.
He said bids are in for several targets and talks are ongoing, though he admitted he would have preferred quicker progress.
