There are some changes occurring within the academy ranks at Manchester United, as several older players are preparing to join rival clubs.
Winger James Scanlon and full-back Habeeb Ogunneye, both of whom were on loan in League Two last season with Swindon and Newport respectively, are currently in discussions with Arsenal.

Despite making only a few appearances in senior football, it is believed that at ages 19 and 20, they still have significant potential for development.
Neither player participated in United’s preseason under Michael Carrick, although 15 academy players were included in the 25-man squad for the opening match against Wrexham in Helsinki on July 18.
Ogunneye played for United’s Under-21 team in a preseason fixture against Altrincham on July 31, while Scanlon, who has represented Gibraltar 24 times and appeared in the Premier League 2 playoff final against Brighton in May, was sidelined due to a minor injury.
It is also reported that other players with substantial Under-21 experience, who have spent time on loan from United, may be heading for transfers before the deadline on September 1.
