Falkirk manager John McGlynn says Dundee United should be embarrassed by their offers for midfielder Brad Spencer.
McGlynn says Falkirk have rejected three bids from the Scottish Premiership side for the 30-year-old, who has just under two years remaining on his contract plus an option for another 12 months.
Although the offers have been reported as six-figure sums, McGlynn insists they are nowhere near Falkirk’s valuation.
He reiterated that Spencer is not for sale and criticised the size of the bids, adding that Falkirk do not intend to sell one of their best players to a direct rival while he is under contract.
According to McGlynn, Spencer will remain at Falkirk unless the board accepts an acceptable proposal, and he does not expect them to agree to Dundee United’s current offers.
