Domino Effect: Beto to…

Fiorentina has finalized an €18 million deal to acquire Everton striker Beto. This move comes after Joshua Zirkzee opted to stall a potential transfer to Manchester United in favor of Juventus, which has consequently allowed Moise Kean to join Como.

As the transfer window draws to a close, a series of interconnected moves have emerged, relying on one another to proceed.

It was widely known that Kean was set for a loan move to Como valued at €5 million, with an obligation to buy for €30 million plus €5 million in add-ons; however, Fiorentina refused to let him go until a replacement was secured.

They had been keenly pursuing Zirkzee from Manchester United but realized late on Sunday that the Dutch forward had his sights firmly set on Juventus.

As a result, the Bianconeri were able to finally present an offer for Zirkzee for a loan with an option to buy at €30 million since Atletico Madrid has shifted focus to Jonathan David.

With Zirkzee’s move seemingly under wraps, Fiorentina shifted their focus and successfully secured Beto from Everton.

The former Udinese forward returns to Serie A with a fee between €17-18 million, based on the source cited, and is anticipated to undergo his medical examination in Italy on Monday.

Simultaneously, Kean will finalize his move to Como and complete the necessary tests.
