Manchester City have completed the signing of winger Allan Elias from Palmeiras in a deal worth up to £34.2m.
The 22-year-old Brazilian has agreed a five-year contract, with City paying an initial £32m plus £2.2m in add-ons.
Elias arrives as a like-for-like replacement for compatriot Savio, who joined Tottenham Hotspur for £75m last week.
The right-sided attacker graduated from Palmeiras’ academy and made 96 senior appearances, recording nine goals and 12 assists across all competitions.
“This is a surreal moment for me. With everything they’ve achieved over the last 15 years, Manchester City are one of the most attractive clubs in the world,” Elias said.
“Being able to say I’ve joined them is the proudest moment of my life.
“I’ll always love Palmeiras, but the choice to come to City was easy. I want to become the best player I can be, and my conversations with City convinced me there’s no better place to fulfil my ambitions.”
Elias is the latest recruit in a busy summer for Enzo Maresca’s squad.
City’s spending has topped £230m, including Elliot Anderson’s £116m move from Nottingham Forest and Ayyoub Bouaddi’s £85.6m switch from Lille.
The club are in discussions with Liverpool over Dutch forward Cody Gakpo and remain interested in Chelsea midfielder Enzo Fernandez.
Meanwhile, sales have brought in more than £286m, with 2026 World Cup Golden Ball winner Rodri joining Barcelona for £65m and Tijani Reijnders moving to Al-Qadsiah for £52m.
Nico Gonzalez and James Trafford also fetched notable fees, while Omar Marmoush’s loan to Tottenham includes a £60m obligation to buy next summer.
