Daniel Munoz joins…

Nottingham Forest have signed Colombia right-back Daniel Munoz from Crystal Palace in a £22m deal.

Munoz reunites with Oliver Glasner at the City Ground after the pair lifted both the FA Cup and the Europa Conference League with the Eagles. He has agreed a three-year contract, joining after two and a half seasons at Selhurst Park, where he scored 11 goals in 109 appearances.

His arrival follows Forest’s club-record £50m capture of Liam Delap, and Munoz could make his debut against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday.

“I’m thrilled to be here,” Munoz said. “There’s a lot of talent in this squad and I’m eager to help my teammates. I believe we can achieve big things. This is a club that has fought hard in recent years, reached a Europa League semi-final, and has ambitious goals for the future—exactly what attracted me.”

Capped 51 times by Colombia, Munoz also helped Palace win the Community Shield in 2025.

Forest’s chief football officer George Syrianos said the defender has proven himself in both the Premier League and Europe and has the mentality and ambition to make a strong impact at the club.

Forest drew 2-2 at Liverpool on Saturday, after opening defeats in the Premier League and Carabao Cup against Leeds United.
