Liverpool have finalised the signing of France forward Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain in a deal worth up to £123m. While PSG initially valued the 23-year-old at £145m, Liverpool will pay £106m up front with a further £17m in add-ons.
Barcola has agreed a five-year contract and becomes the fifth summer arrival at Anfield, following winger Victor Munoz and defenders Jeremy Jacquet, Ronald Araujo and Ifeanyi Ndukwe. Delighted to complete the move after a lengthy process, Barcola said his immediate aim is to get on the pitch, with a long-term ambition of helping Liverpool win the Premier League—one of his biggest career goals—and establishing himself at the club over the duration of his contract.
Set to wear the number 29 shirt, the France international is most comfortable on the left wing but can play anywhere across the front line. He strengthens Andoni Iraola’s options after Mohamed Salah’s departure, Hugo Ekitike’s long-term injury, and with Cody Gakpo potentially leaving.
Barcola recorded 13 goals and seven assists in 49 appearances for PSG last season. He featured in all eight of France’s matches at the 2026 World Cup, scoring three times as Les Bleus reached the third-place play-off. Having joined PSG from Lyon in 2023 for around £38.5m, he went on to win three Ligue 1 titles, two Champions Leagues, two French Cups, the Uefa Super Cup and the Fifa Intercontinental Cup. The agreed fee also accounts for a solidarity payment PSG owe Lyon from his move to Paris three years ago.
