Paris Saint-Germain has long been associated with high-profile players, including David Beckham, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lionel Messi, Neymar, and Kylian Mbappe.
Interestingly, in their first season without a marquee name, PSG managed to clinch the UEFA Champions League title. However, this hasn’t stopped them from pursuing their next big star, especially with Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe no longer part of the team.
Reports have surfaced linking PSG with a move for Barcelona’s rising star Lamine Yamal, a claim now corroborated by renowned journalist Romain Molina.
PSG is Eager to Secure Yamal
Molina, who has contributed to publications like The Guardian and The Independent, indicates that PSG is increasingly keen on signing Yamal.
In his latest report, Molina reveals that the Qatari ownership of PSG has prioritized securing Yamal’s signature as a long-term goal.

The journalist notes that PSG, eager to replace the star power of their former players, has had its eye on Yamal for years and has stepped up efforts to secure him after missing out on Messi.
While Manchester City continues to express interest, it is PSG that is “absolutely determined” to bring the 18-year-old Spanish talent to Paris in the near future. Club officials have stated, “We must have him.”
Molina adds that PSG is prepared to make significant financial commitments to sign Yamal, who has recently gained support from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
In response, Barcelona is offering Yamal one of the largest contracts in their history, complete with loyalty bonuses and performance incentives, aimed at keeping PSG and other top European clubs at bay.
Barcelona is well aware of PSG’s persistent interest and continues to bolster its support for Yamal, both financially and in public, to ensure he remains integral to their long-term plans.
