The preparations for the 138th Klassiker between Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich are in full swing, and Serhou Guirassy has provided die Schwarzgelben with a significant boost ahead of Saturday’s showdown.
After sitting out Guinea’s match against Mozambique and returning to Germany due to injury, Guirassy missed his nation’s 2-2 draw against Botswana. However, he joined full training with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday, reinforcing the team’s lineup before the Klassiker.
According to a report by Kicker, Guirassy is set to feature against Bayern Munich. Apart from long-term absentees Emre Can and Julien Duranville, Niko Kovač should have his full squad at his disposal, although Aarón Anselmino may not be ready for match action just yet due to his recent injury.
With just four points separating Bundesliga leaders Bayern Munich from second-placed Borussia Dortmund as they head into Matchday 7, the stakes are high as BVB aim to narrow the gap.
