Roberto Mancini, former head coach of Italy and Saudi Arabia
Roberto Mancini, who previously managed Italy and Manchester City, has reportedly been unable to finalize an agreement with Nottingham Forest for the managerial position.
The 60-year-old was approached by the Premier League club following the termination of Ange Postecoglou, marking the second managerial change this season after Nuno Espírito Santo’s dismissal in September.
Short-lived Interest from Mancini in Nottingham Forest

Reports from numerous sources, including Telegraph Sport and Sky Sport Italia, indicated that Mancini was a leading candidate for the position, alongside Sean Dyche.
However, Fabrizio Romano has stated that after discussions over the last day, no agreement has been reached between Nottingham Forest and the EURO 2020 winner.
Ultimately, it was decided that Mancini would not be the right fit for the role at this time.
There were also brief rumors of an approach to Luciano Spalletti, but those were quickly quashed.
This would have marked Mancini’s return to the Premier League, where he previously won the title with Manchester City in 2012.
