As January draws near, AS Roma is gearing up to enhance their offensive lineup in the upcoming transfer window.
Sporting director Frederic Massara is on the lookout for a young talent who fits within Financial Fair Play guidelines while remaining financially viable.
According to Marca, one of the players under consideration is Said El Mala, currently with Cologne. He has had a stellar start to the Bundesliga season, contributing four goals and two assists in his first nine matches.
While he isn’t a traditional striker, El Mala’s skills are more aligned with those of an attacking midfielder or winger, potentially adding valuable versatility to Gian Piero Gasperini’s offensive strategies.
However, pursuing this talent won’t be easy, as he recently signed a contract extension that ties him to Cologne until 2030.
