Federico Balzaretti’s official departure from Roma is expected to happen in the coming hours.
The former player has been serving as a loan manager at Roma since January 2025, initially working with Florent Ghisolfi and later with Frederic Massara.
According to Sky Sport, Balzaretti has already finalized the termination of his contract with the Giallorossi.
Shortly, he is set to join Marseille, where he will take on the role of assistant to Mehdi Benatia, the club’s sporting director and his former teammate at Roma.
