This acquisition not only grants them full ownership of the land but also lays the groundwork for developing a modern stadium complex.
Consequently, November 5, 2025, will be a significant date for AC Milan and Inter Milan.

Although the target date for the purchase was November 10, Milan and Inter have successfully concluded the deal ahead of schedule.
Additionally, both teams have been busy arranging the bank guarantees required for the initial payment of the acquisition cost.
The agreement can only be finalized once these funds have been transferred.
In the meantime, Norman Foster has been appointed to design the new stadium, which will have a capacity of 71,500 seats.
Construction is expected to commence in 2027, with the clubs aiming to have the new venue operational by 2031.
