Daniele De Rossi has been appointed as the new manager of Genoa, and the announcement is now official.
The former Roma player and coach has decided to take on the challenge with the Rossoblu, signing an eight-month contract that includes an option for extension if the team remains in the top division.
De Rossi is set to take his place on the sidelines for this weekend’s match against Fiorentina, a team currently struggling and that has recently parted ways with manager Stefano Pioli. For the time being, Daniele Galloppa will step in as the interim coach.
