A Manchester City Winger…

It seemed inevitable that Oscar Bobb would leave Manchester City for a permanent move. Recently, Pep Guardiola acknowledged last week that Bobb expressed a desire to exit the club during this transfer window. Reports now indicate that Fulham and Manchester City have reached an agreement that will see Bobb join Marco Silva’s squad. This move presents Oscar Bobb with the chance to solidify his position as a first-team player at Craven Cottage once the transfer is finalized.

Manchester City and Fulham have finalized a deal for Oscar Bobb’s transfer to Craven Cottage.

Fabrizio Romano has reported that both clubs have agreed on the terms of Bobb’s transfer to Fulham for a fee of £27 million. Additionally, the agreement includes a 20% sell-on clause for City, similar to the conditions they had when James Trafford moved to Burnley, along with matching rights.

Oscar Bobb now has the opportunity to earn more playing time and prove his capability at Fulham.

There’s no denying that Oscar Bobb has seen a decline in his standing at Manchester City this season. He began as a starter but has since fallen behind others in performance. With players like Rayan Cherki, Antoine Semenyo, Jeremy Doku, Omar Marmoush, and Savinho ahead of him, Bobb has found himself on the fringes of the squad. A transfer to Fulham in January should afford him the chance to play more regularly, which is essential for his development.

Last season, Bobb suffered a fractured leg that significantly hindered his progress. He appeared set to make a name for himself with City, but his injury caused him to miss a substantial part of the season. Since then, he has struggled to secure a spot as a regular starter with the team. This is unfortunate, but hopefully, Bobb will now have the stage he needs to showcase his talent at Fulham.

Oscar Bobb is expected to finalize his move to Fulham in the coming days, presenting him with a much-needed opportunity for more on-field action. If he can realize his potential at Fulham, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him make a return to Manchester City in the future.
