Adams Highlights…

Midfielder Tyler Adams emphasized the growing confidence and ambition within the Bournemouth squad as they approach a potential first European campaign. He highlighted the importance of remaining “calm and collected” to secure their position.

With just three Premier League matches remaining, Bournemouth sits sixth on the table, close to clinching continental football for the first time following a 3-0 victory over Crystal Palace.

“It was a great afternoon, but we need to remain as calm and collected as possible,” Adams shared on the Cherries’ official website. “We have the ambition and belief in our locker room, which is crucial.”

“With three games left, we’ll take it one match at a time, understanding how quickly things can change in this league.”

An own goal from former Bournemouth player Jefferson Lerma, along with Junior Kroupi’s penalty and a second-half goal from Rayan, extended Bournemouth’s unbeaten streak to 15 games in the top flight.

Andoni Iraola’s team will face Fulham on Saturday, then host title-challenging Manchester City before wrapping up their potentially historic season against Nottingham Forest.

“While we can be excited, we know there’s a chance we could fall out of Europe in these next three games. Therefore, we must remain grounded,” remarked Adams, a United States international.

“It’s about taking it game by game, but the team has been in great shape. Our morale, the way we train daily, is highly focused, and we must also remember to enjoy this process as it’s rare for Bournemouth to find itself in such a position.”

In addition to aiding Bournemouth’s pursuit of a place in the Europa League or Conference League, Adams is also set to play a pivotal role for the USMNT at this summer’s World Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino’s squad kicks off Group D play at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California, on June 12 against Paraguay, followed by matches against Australia and Türkiye in the expanded 48-team tournament hosted by the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
