Following last weekend’s 1-1 draw at home against Everton, Brighton fans once again expressed their frustrations with manager Fabian Hurzeler at the conclusion of Sunday’s match.
The final whistle was accompanied by a wave of boos from the home crowd, with some supporters chanting “You don’t know what you’re doing” as the 32-year-old manager exited the pitch.

Brighton started the match brightly, showing slightly more promise in the first 30 minutes. However, their only significant effort came from Maxim de Cuyper’s low shot, which was comfortably saved by Dean Henderson, while Palace struggled with their confidence.
Henderson also did well to deny Charalampos Kostoulas’ low shot after Ismaila Sarr scored in the second half, but the home side struggled to respond and faded from the game.
Their recent 2-0 victory over Burnley remains Brighton’s sole win in their last 12 league outings, with only Burnley and Wolves accumulating fewer points during this stretch.
Brighton substitute James Milner missed the chance for a late appearance that would have leveled him with Gareth Barry for the most appearances in Premier League history.
On a positive note, teenage winger Harry Howell made his first senior start, becoming the youngest player to start a top-flight game for the Seagulls at just 17 years and 294 days old.
