Milan may need to appeal to FIFA if reports are true that Corinthians are attempting to hinder the €17 million acquisition of 19-year-old midfielder André.
The news broke via ESPN Brasil over the weekend, indicating that both clubs were nearing a complete agreement set for July 1.

Despite this, Brazilian reports suggest that Corinthians President Osmar Stabile is hesitating and is not ready to approve the deal.
Coach Dorival Junior is also publicly opposed to the transfer, believing the asking price undervalues the player’s talent.

If the situation continues, La Gazzetta dello Sport warns that Milan and the player, whose full name is André Luiz Santos Dias, may need to seek FIFA’s intervention to resolve the matter.
They report that the necessary paperwork has already been prepared by Corinthians’ legal team, so if the deal doesn’t proceed, they are looking for some form of compensation.
