Como has issued an official statement following the FIGC’s decision to dismiss their appeal regarding the suspensions of Jesus Rodriguez and coach Cesc Fabregas.
This appeal was initiated after Serie A bans were placed on them following the match that ended in a 1-1 draw against Cremonese on September 27.
Today, their appeal was turned down by the Disciplinary Commission, marking a final resolution to the issue.
Como Acknowledges Appeal Rejection

“Following the Italian Football Federation’s decision to reject our appeal and uphold the suspensions of Jesús Rodríguez and Cesc Fàbregas, Como respects the process and acknowledges the outcome,” stated Como.
“We appreciate the Federation for considering our submissions and remain dedicated to upholding the league’s standards and principles.
“Our focus is now directed towards our upcoming matches and responding with professionalism, unity, and respect for the competition.”
Jesus Rodriguez has been handed a three-match suspension, while coach Fabregas has received a two-match touchline ban along with a monetary fine.
Rodriguez received a red card during the 82nd minute for an off-the-ball incident involving Filippo Terracciano, where he tripped the Cremonese player and made a fist gesture.
He is already suspended for the match against Atalanta and will additionally miss key fixtures against Juventus and Parma.
This means that Fabregas will also be absent from the sidelines during the crucial clash with Juventus next weekend.
