Araujos Heartfelt Season…

Julian Araujo, the Mexican right-back currently on loan at Celtic from Bournemouth, has effectively confirmed that his season has come to an end due to an injury.

The 24-year-old joined Celtic Park in January with hopes of securing more playing time to enhance his chances of making the World Cup squad for this summer.

During his time with the reigning champions, Araujo made 13 appearances, helping the team sit third in the Scottish Premiership. However, interim manager Martin O’Neill mentioned that he does not expect Araujo to return after the player suffered a setback while trying to recover from a thigh injury at his parent club.

Following the news, Araujo shared his thoughts on Facebook: “I don’t have all the answers at the moment, but I believe everything happens for a reason and that God is guiding me every step of this journey.

“I am sincerely grateful to Celtic Football Club for embracing me from day one and for making Glasgow feel like home.

“Wearing this badge and experiencing the passion, history, and energy of this club is something I will cherish forever.

“I want to thank my teammates and coaches for everything we have shared this season.

“I will always support you, and I am confident in the achievements this group can attain.

“This isn’t how I envisioned my season ending, but it’s part of my journey. I will take this moment, learn from it, and come back stronger than ever.”
