Arsenal has officially signed winger Christos Tzolis from Club Brugge for a reported fee of £34 million ($45.7 million), as confirmed by ESPN sources.
Tzolis will enhance the competition for playing time in the attack, particularly on the flanks, for the reigning Premier League champions. This signing comes after the departure of Leandro Trossard, who left for Besiktas in a deal worth £15.3 million ($20.6 million).

Last season, Tzolis netted 22 goals and provided 29 assists in 52 matches for Club Brugge across all competitions. He is an international player for Greece, boasting 34 caps and 9 goals for his country. Tzolis began his career with PAOK in Greece before moving to England to play for Norwich City, where he made 14 Premier League appearances, including his debut against Arsenal at the Emirates.
His career has also included stints with FC Twente in the Dutch Eredivisie, Fortuna Dusseldorf in Germany’s second tier, and Club Brugge in Belgium’s top league.
Tzolis joins fellow newcomers Piero Hincapié, who has transitioned from a loan to a permanent deal, and goalkeeper Illan Meslier, who signed on a free transfer from Leeds United this summer, bolstering Mikel Arteta’s squad.
