After a break lasting over a month, the Swedish top tier resumed on Friday. The Allsvenskan runs on a calendar-year schedule, meaning this is not the kickoff of a new season but a continuation of the previous one.
Sagoe Jr made an immediate impact, assisting both the first and second goals in Kalmar’s 3-0 victory.

For the opening goal, Sagoe Jr. skillfully cut inside before passing to Carl Gustafsson, who unleashed a powerful shot from distance into the bottom corner. Just 20 minutes later, another lay-off from Sagoe Jr. had Kalmar hitting the post.
His second assist showcased his precision, as he delivered a cutback to Abdussalam Magashy, who finished neatly from just inside the penalty area.

Sagoe Jr. was substituted in the 80th minute, shortly after which Kalmar secured their third goal.
The 21-year-old Arsenal loanee now boasts two goals and seven assists in his first 13 competitive matches for Kalmar, with his loan extending until January 2027.
Following that period, he is set to return to Arsenal with only six months remaining on his contract.
