After scoring three goals in a dominant 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in the north London derby, it’s no surprise that Eberechi Eze has earned a spot in various Teams of the Week this Tuesday.

Troy Deeney highlighted Eze in his BBC Team of the Week, commenting that the midfielder is “the man of the moment.”

Deeney praised Eze, saying, “He scored goals, displayed remarkable composure, and truly controlled the game. He was the standout player on the pitch.”

WhoScored also recognized Eze in their Team of the Week, awarding him an impressive 10.0 rating.

This marks just the second occasion this season where a Premier League player has received a perfect score from WhoScored, with the previous instance being Jurrien Timber for his performance against Leeds United in August.

Eze’s remarkable performance included scoring three goals from four shots on target, creating a significant scoring opportunity, successfully completing all three of his dribble attempts, and winning seven out of nine ground duels, showcasing his dominance on the pitch.

Eze was also featured in the Sofascore Team of the Week, and it’s likely challenging to find a list where he didn’t make the cut following such a stellar performance in the derby.

Unfortunately, no other Arsenal players received recognition for their contributions, despite commendable displays from stars like Declan Rice and Leandro Trossard. However, perhaps it’s best to keep the spotlight on Eze for this occasion.
