AS Monaco set to make…

AS Monaco has already made their initial signing of the January transfer window, bringing in Wout Faes on loan from Leicester City. However, during a press conference attended by Get French Football News, the club’s CEO, Thiago Scuro, indicated that the team may not be done making moves just yet.

“The central defender became a priority following Mohammed Salisu’s ACL injury. We are also in discussions about other positions. Our goal is to find players like [Faes] who can come in, make an impact, meet Monaco’s standards, and fit within our financial structure. We are open to bringing in more talent this winter, but it will depend on the circumstances and criteria,” Scuro stated.

With Takumi Minamino also suffering an ACL injury last month, Monaco is actively seeking reinforcements in the attacking positions. “[His] injury has heightened our focus on the forward roles. We are evaluating profiles that can come in, make a difference, and elevate the team,” Scuro added.
