Barcelona Dominates Real…

Real Betis 3-5 Barcelona

Barcelona secured their sixth consecutive victory in La Liga with a thrilling 5-3 win over Real Betis at La Cartuja.

The match started disastrously for the Catalan side when they conceded within the first six minutes. A chaotic moment in the box saw Antony score from close range, despite protests from several Barcelona players. However, Barcelona quickly equalized when Ferran Torres found the net with a close-range shot, assisted by Jules Kounde.

Not long after, Ferran made it 2-1 as he volleyed the ball through Betis goalkeeper Alvaro Valles’ legs, who was unable to react in time. After an impressive assist from Roony Bardghji, he scored again before the half-hour mark, marking his first goal for the La Liga leaders with a brilliant shot using his less dominant right foot.

Just before half-time, Ferran completed his hat trick with a deflected shot from the edge of the box after being played in by Pedri, leaving Valles with no chance of saving it.

Lamine Yamal extended their lead to 5-1 in the second half after a contentious penalty was awarded to Barcelona, with Marc Bartra penalized for handling the ball in the box. Despite facing a significant deficit, Betis fought back late in the game, scoring two goals through Diego Llorente and Cucho Hernandez, who scored from the penalty spot after Kounde fouled Ez Abde.

Barcelona Restores Four-Point Advantage

This result allows Barcelona to maintain a four-point lead over Real Madrid, who could reduce the gap to just one point if they win against Celta Vigo at the Bernabeu on Sunday.
