Barcelona aims to transform the Spotify Camp Nou into a true fortress during the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final against Atletico Madrid on Tuesday night.
In an effort to spark a comeback following their 4-0 defeat in the first leg, the club has been actively working to assemble around 700 supporters from the former Grada d’Animació (cheering supporters group) to enhance the stadium atmosphere.

Approval Granted
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona has secured approval from the Mossos d’Esquadra (Catalan police) to implement their plan.
Nonetheless, a final administrative step remains before the group can be seated together in the stadium.

The plan is to position the 700 supporters in the section behind the stand known as Gol 1957, located in the lower corner between the Gol Sud and Tribuna stands.
For this match, Barcelona will not have license 1C, which the City Council must grant in order to accommodate the targeted 62,000 spectators. Consequently, this arrangement is temporary and exceptional for this specific match.

The Catalan club has been in continuous discussions with the main supporters’ groups, including Almogàvers, Nostra Ensenya, Front 532, and Supporters Barça, who were part of the Grada before it was closed due to financial penalties.
The objective is for these supporters to lead the chants from the very start, creating an intense atmosphere throughout the stadium to motivate the team towards a comeback against Atletico Madrid.
