Reports have surfaced in Italy stating that FC Barcelona has been given an opportunity to acquire AC Milan and Portugal winger Rafael Leao.
The 26-year-old has encountered some complications with Milan’s manager, Massimiliano Allegri, this season, and with the Rossoneri contemplating a squad overhaul, they may be open to the idea of selling Leao.

Consequently, the Portuguese international has reportedly been made available to several top European clubs, including Barcelona, with an asking price of around €50 million.
No Developments Between Barcelona, Milan, and Leao
However, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has provided an update, stating that Barcelona is not currently pursuing a deal for Rafael Leao.
Romano explains that the Blaugrana are not engaged in negotiations with either Leao or his representatives and have not reached out to Milan to discuss a potential transfer.

While Leao’s name has circulated within Barcelona’s discussions over the years, it has typically been through agents rather than from AC Milan directly. Currently, the Serie A team is not actively seeking to sell their standout forward.
It’s well-known that Barcelona president-elect Joan Laporta regards Leao highly. His potential signing has been considered in previous seasons, particularly when the Catalans missed out on Nico Williams during the last couple of summers.
Despite ongoing speculation about Leao being linked to Barcelona, there are no active discussions between the club, Leao, and AC Milan at this moment.
As it stands, the Blaugrana are currently evaluating whether to activate Marcus Rashford’s purchase option, valued at €30 million. If they decide against it, Deco and his team would prefer to target a younger player with high potential to bolster their left flank.
