Barcelona open to

This summer, Barcelona plans to offload several players in an effort to generate funds for new acquisitions. Among those targeted for sale are Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Marc Casado, and Ferran Torres. Recently, Roony Bardghji has also emerged as a potential departure.

Bardghji’s first season in Catalonia has been inconsistent since his €2.5 million transfer from FC Copenhagen last summer. He has scored two goals and provided four assists in 25 matches, yet much of his playing time has been off the bench due to competition from Lamine Yamal.

In March, Bardghji expressed his frustrations about his lack of playing time, prompting Barcelona to evaluate their options regarding the 20-year-old winger as they head into the summer. Currently, the club is keeping all possibilities open, as reported by Sport.

Barcelona does not view Bardghji’s circumstances as needing urgent attention. They are satisfied with his performance this season but are prepared to let him go if he cannot accept a role that sometimes means limited playing time, provided the offer is right.

€10 million might suffice for Bardghji’s transfer

Surprisingly, Sport has reported that Barcelona’s minimum asking price for Bardghji is €10 million. If an offer in this ballpark materializes, club officials would seriously consider it, though the final decision rests with the player.

It seems increasingly likely that Bardghji is likely to depart Barcelona this summer, which would be a setback for Hansi Flick, considering the Swedish international’s impact during his limited minutes on the pitch. A replacement would need to be identified, likely from La Masia.
