Recently, Spain manager Luis de la Fuente shared an optimistic update on Yamal, while emphasizing that the player’s health remains the primary concern.
“They’ll [Lamine and other injured players] all be available for Cape Verde. However, that doesn’t guarantee they will play; it will depend on how we feel.”

Despite being available, it’s unlikely the Barcelona forward will start against Cape Verde. Given that he has only recently returned to full training, Spain is expected to adopt a cautious approach with one of their key players.
