Luke Fury from The Redmen TV shared insights about Liverpool’s rumored interest in PSG winger Bradley Barcola during a segment on BBC Radio Merseyside’s Total Sport show.
There are reports that PSG is seeking £140 million for the 23-year-old.
Fury commented, “I would definitely take him. £145 million is excessive. Just for context, we paid £125 million for Isak. Barcola and Isak are somewhat similar, and I’d argue Isak’s deal was more substantial. Barcola has featured in 46 matches for PSG this season, netting 13 goals and providing seven assists, including three goals and one assist at the World Cup. While he may not be a prolific creator, he is certainly a strong finisher.”
“Some may say he can be wasteful, but considering Liverpool’s recent performance, with Kieran Morrison making runs behind Lewis Koumas, Barcola would fit right in with Liverpool’s style of play.”
