With departures such as Aaron Anselmino and Pascal Groß during the winter transfer window, Dortmund has created openings in their squad. In their places, midfielder Salih Özcan and forward Samuele Inacio have been registered for the upcoming round.

Options for Dortmund:

Özcan’s inclusion provides Niko Kovac with a more defensive midfielder to utilize, particularly useful for closing out tight matches.

Additionally, Anselmino’s return to Chelsea necessitates that Emre Can play as a center-back, limiting Dortmund’s midfield options to Felix Nmecha, Jobe Bellingham, Marcel Sabitzer, and Carney Chukwuemeka, none of whom specialize in defensive duties.
