Bournemouth forward Enes Unal has faced considerable challenges since his arrival in the Premier League. The Turkish striker has dealt with injuries during his time in England and is now in search of regular playing time.
Following a torn anterior cruciate ligament in 2023, Unal joined Bournemouth in 2024 on loan before finalizing a €16.5 million transfer from Getafe that summer. Unfortunately, he encountered another cruciate ligament injury the subsequent season, further restricting his appearances.

This season, Unal has returned to fitness and scored during his first match back. However, he has yet to secure a spot in Andoni Iraola's starting line-up and is eager to regain his form. Throughout his Bournemouth career, Unal has made 40 appearances, contributing five goals and four assists, but these outings have totalled only 757 minutes of play.

As reported by Diario AS, Unal has entered discussions with his former club, Getafe, regarding a potential return. It was at the Coliseum where he made his mark, netting 30 goals over his last two full seasons there. With Los Azulones currently lacking striking options, Jose Bordalas would likely welcome him back, making Getafe a feasible option for Unal.

Wider La Liga Interest in Unal
According to AS, Unal, 28, is also attracting attention from other La Liga clubs. Fichajes has identified Sevilla and Real Oviedo as two clubs interested in securing his services.
Sevilla is in search of a reliable striker after losing Akor Adams to the African Cup of Nations and has been linked to Elye Wahi for the January transfer window. Meanwhile, Oviedo's forwards have combined for only three goals this season, making them the lowest-scoring team in La Liga with just seven goals overall.
