Altrincham secured a 2-0 victory over Brackley at St James Park, with Jake Cooper and Declan Howe netting the goals, despite missing a penalty during the match.
The visitors took the lead just before the half-time whistle when Cooper scored from close range following a corner.

With just seven minutes left in the second half, Altrincham had the opportunity to extend their lead with a penalty, but Jonny Maxted made a great save to deny Howe’s effort from the spot.
However, Howe made amends by finding the net in stoppage time after a Brackley defender stumbled.
