After the conclusion of Champions League Round 7, no Serie A clubs have made it into the top eight, with Napoli falling completely outside the top 24.
With just one match remaining in the league phase of the Champions League, Serie A clubs find themselves in a precarious position, as none qualify for the Round of 16 based on current standings.

Atalanta Leads Serie A’s Champions League Contingent

Atalanta had a missed opportunity on Wednesday, suffering a 3-2 defeat at home against Athletic Club. Despite this setback, they remain the highest-placed Serie A team in the Champions League standings, currently sitting at 13th with 13 points.
Inter is positioned just behind with 12 points in 14th place. The Nerazzurri started strong with four consecutive wins but faced three losses in a row thereafter.

Juventus managed a 2-0 victory over Benfica on Wednesday, matching Inter’s total of 12 points but falling behind due to inferior goal difference.

Napoli has only managed to secure eight points, the same as PSV, Athletic Club, Olympiacos, and Copenhagen. However, their goal difference of -5 leaves them outside the top 24 and nearly eliminated from the competition.

Antonio Conte’s squad will face their final match in the league phase of the Champions League against Chelsea at home next Wednesday.
All matches will be held simultaneously at 21:00 CET, with Juventus visiting Monaco, Inter playing away against Borussia Dortmund, and Atalanta traveling to Union Saint-Gilloise.
