Cheltenham Town have officially acquired midfielder Shaun McWilliams, following his exit from Rotherham United at the conclusion of last season.
The 27-year-old signed with the Millers in May 2024 and made 26 appearances in League One last season, netting two goals.

Prior to his time at Rotherham, McWilliams played for eight years at Northampton Town, achieving promotion to the third tier on two occasions.
Cheltenham manager Steve Cotterill expressed on the club website: “He adds a unique element to our midfield, and opposing teams will find it challenging to play against him. He has a strong presence.”
