Italy international Federico Chiesa is once again evaluating his position at Liverpool, especially following reports suggesting that Como could offer him the opportunity to play in the Champions League.
The winger has been linked with a move back to Serie A periodically since his initial transfer from Juventus for a fee of €12 million, plus potential add-ons of up to €3 million, in 2024.

Repeatedly, he has been hesitant to acknowledge that his time at Anfield has fallen short of expectations, holding out hope for a chance to showcase his abilities.

Despite making 36 competitive appearances for Liverpool this season and contributing three goals alongside as many assists, Chiesa has only started five matches, with just one occurring in the Premier League.

The recent dismissal of Arne Slot, coupled with the potential appointment of Andoni Iraola as the new manager could potentially disrupt the situation further, leaving the door open for a possible exit.
According to a report from Calciomercato, Como is keen to present a bid for the 28-year-old, especially after securing Champions League qualification just two years post their promotion from Serie B.
Como is currently facing a shortage of Italian players within their squad, as there are a lack of Italian representation in their lineup, meaning they need to sign more local talent like Chiesa.
Earlier interest from clubs such as Milan, Roma, and Napoli had been noted, but Como could offer a fresh start for him, especially under the guidance of Cesc Fabregas.
